Hodhan Osman is a 3rd year Architectural Conservation and Sustainability Engineering student, and is this year's Co-President at the Carleton EWB Chapter in Ottawa. Hodhan grew up in both Canada and Kenya, and as a result her passion for sustainable and urban development in informal settlements flourished. She was an intern at Kwangu Kwako, a social enterprise that rebuilds housing in slums, and a research student at Simon Fraser University where she conducted an urban metabolism study, and a climate change resiliency plan that would improve the sustainability of campus operations and systems.
